Our Story

EYYA began with humble beginnings and a simple ambition: to use technology to solve real-world operational problems in a practical, meaningful way.

From those early foundations, we have grown into the rail sector, combining IoT, AI, and data-driven insight to improve inspections, condition monitoring, reporting, and asset visibility.

Today, EYYA continues to evolve, building scalable, ethical, and sustainable digital solutions that help transport and infrastructure organisations work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.

2026

EIT Urban Mobility

EYYA has been accepted into the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem, securing support from EIT Urban Mobility and the European Union to advance deployment of its AI-driven eTRAC platform across Europe. The collaboration strengthens EYYA’s expansion into the European market and demonstrates growing demand for intelligent, data-driven rail technologies that improve operational efficiency, cleanliness monitoring and predictive maintenance.

South Western Railway

EYYA is now delivering its commercial-grade eTRAC solution for South Western Railway, expanding the deployment of AI-driven train condition monitoring across the UK rail network. Using computer vision, IoT and AI, eTRAC provides real-time detection of damage, cleanliness and maintenance issues to improve operational efficiency, reliability and passenger experience.

2025

Chiltern Railways

Working in partnership with Chiltern Railways, EYYA successfully deployed the eTRAC pilot at Wembley Depot to demonstrate AI-driven train condition monitoring within a live rail environment. The system captured over 40,000 train video datasets, validating the scalability of AI, computer vision and IoT technologies to support smarter maintenance, improved asset visibility and more efficient rail operations.

EYYA Wins Innovate UK Contract to Deliver AI-Powered Train Inspection Solution.

We’re proud to announce that EYYA has been awarded funding from Innovate UK to accelerate the rollout of our cutting-edge AI and IoT solution, TRACK, designed to transform the way train condition inspections are performed across the rail network.

Fenix First Visit

EYYA agrees a globally exclusive agreement with Fenix Rail Systems to deliver an innovative train facility IoT platform. Providing actionable insights in real time using machine learning and artificial intelligence to deliver preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.

2024

Brunel University

Collaborating with the Brunel University Business School and Centre for Artificial Intelligence (AI), EYYA backs projects focused on the digitally driven circular economy and sustainable digital technologies. These initiatives encompass a range of innovations, including IoT sensors and platforms, among others.

2022

Stretching our Wings

With a proven methodology for implementing high-volume IoT projects in the retail sector, we introduced our agile installation teams. They are IoT-trained, tech-savvy, and locally based in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and France.

Our capable team can deploy thousands of IoT devices across these countries and beyond within a matter of weeks.

2021

EYYA Assembles

EYYA Assembles a diverse, tech-savvy, young, and enthusiastic team.

Together, we implemented cutting-edge technology from our US customer, deploying it into global consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, with a focus on the chilled beverages and ice cream sector. As a result, customers experienced significant growth in sales, up to 40%, and improved product availability, thanks to the collaborative efforts of our technology customer and the excellent execution by our team.

2020

The Beginning

EYYA is established! with the mission of addressing the barriers to adopting IoT technology in organisations. During extensive global travels and while delivering IoT solutions to diverse enterprises, our CEO, Dr. Niazy Kioufi, identified a widespread challenge: organisations worldwide encountered extraordinary challenges in adopting IoT.

Witnessing this first-hand, Niazy published research and the development of an IoT adoption framework that now facilitates successful integration of IoT into businesses
